NATURE CONSERVATION ACT 1992 - SECT 70N
Register of proposed protected areas
70N Register of proposed protected areas
(1) The chief executive must keep a register of proposed protected areas.
(2)
The register must, for each proposed protected area, state— (a) its location
and area; and
(b) the class of protected area that it is proposed to become;
and
(c) any other information the chief executive considers desirable.
(3)
The chief executive may keep the register in the way the chief executive
considers appropriate, including, for example, in electronic form.
(4) The
chief executive must keep the register open for inspection during office hours
on business days at— (a) the department’s head office; and
(b) each
regional office of the department in whose area the proposed protected area is
situated; and
(c) other places the chief executive considers appropriate.
