Licensee and approved manager to state name and address
86 Licensee and approved manager to state name and address
(1) A police officer or the Authority may require a licensee or an approved
manager at a licensed brothel to give particulars of the licensee’s or
manager’s name and address.
(2) If a police officer or the Authority makes
a requirement under subsection (1) , the police officer or the Authority must
warn the licensee or approved manager that it is an offence— (a) to fail,
without reasonable excuse, to comply with the requirement; or
(b) to give
false particulars.
(3) The licensee or approved manager must not— (a)
without reasonable excuse, fail to comply with the requirement; or
(b) give
false particulars of the licensee’s or manager’s name; or
(c) give false
particulars of the address of the licensee’s or manager’s ordinary place
of residence or business.
Penalty— Maximum penalty for subsection (3)
—20 penalty units.
