Amending planning schemes under Minister’s rules
20 Amending planning schemes under Minister’s rules
(1) This section applies to an amendment of a planning scheme that the
Minister’s rules apply to.
(2) Instead of complying with section 18 , a
local government may amend a planning scheme by following the process in the
Minister’s rules.
(3) The Minister’s rules must provide for the
local government to publish a public notice about the planning scheme being
amended.
