PUBLIC HEALTH ACT 2005 - SECT 281
Chief executive may give information
281 Chief executive may give information
(1) The chief executive may give information under this part.
(2) To enable
the chief executive to give information under this part, a relevant person may
give information under this part to the chief executive.
(3) The chief
executive or a relevant person may give the information despite any other
provision of this Act or any provision of another law that deals with
confidentiality, including, for example, the
Hospital and Health Boards Act 2011 , section 142 .
(4) In this section—
"relevant person" means a person who has access to health information held by
a health agency, including, for example, a health service employee or a public
service employee.
