PUBLIC HEALTH ACT 2005 - SECT 316

316 Relationship to other Acts

(1) Nothing in this chapter prevents a person from declaring a disaster situation or another emergency under another Act (
"another declaration" ).

(2) However, the existence of another declaration does not prevent the declaration of a public health emergency under this chapter.
