PROPERTY OCCUPATIONS ACT 2014 - SECT 31
Applicant must state business address
(1) The applicant must also state in the applicant’s application— (a) if
the applicant intends carrying on business under the licence immediately after
the issue of the licence—the place or places in Queensland where the
applicant proposes to carry on business under the licence; or
(b) if the
applicant does not intend carrying on business under the licence immediately
after the issue of the licence— (i) the capacity in which the applicant
intends performing activities under the licence and the address where the
activities are to be performed (
"business address" ); and
(ii) if the applicant intends to be a person in
charge of a licensee’s business at a place of business—the name of the
applicant’s employer and the address of the place of business where the
applicant is to be in charge (also a
"business address" ).
Examples of capacity in which activities may be
performed— • person in charge of a corporation’s business
•
licensed employee of a licensee
Example of business address of an employed licensee— the address of the
person’s employer’s place of business where the person generally reports
for work
(2) If the applicant intends to carry on business under the
licence at more than 1 place, the applicant must state in the application the
place the applicant intends to be the applicant’s principal place of
business.
(3) A place of business or an address under this section must be a
place where a document can be served personally.
(4) A place of business or
an address must not be a post office box.
