PUBLIC SERVICE ACT 2008 - SECT 297
Appeals not started before commencement
297 Appeals not started before commencement
(1) This section applies if— (a) before the commencement, a person could
have started an appeal against a decision under chapter 7, part 1; and
(b) on
the commencement, the person has not started the appeal; and
(c) the time
within which the appeal notice for the decision must be given and received
under section 197 (the
"appeal period" ) has not ended.
(2) The person may appeal the decision
within the appeal period.
(3) Chapter 7, as in force immediately before the
commencement, applies in relation to the appeal as if the
Public Service and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2020 had not commenced.
