VICTIMS OF CRIME ASSISTANCE ACT 2009 - SECT 6A
Meaning of prescribed person
(1)
"Prescribed person" means— (a) a government entity; or
(b) a non-government
entity; or
(c) an officer, member or employee of a government entity or
non-government entity.
(2) However, a person is not a
"prescribed person" if, or to the extent, the person is dealing with a victim
in the person’s capacity as a legal representative of a person accused of
committing a crime or domestic violence against the victim.
