WORKERS' COMPENSATION AND REHABILITATION ACT 2003 - SECT 39A
Meaning of terminal condition
(1) A
"terminal condition" , of a worker, is a condition certified by a doctor as
being a condition that is expected to terminate the worker’s life within 5
years after the terminal nature of the condition is diagnosed.
(2) A
condition is a terminal condition only if the insurer accepts the doctor’s
diagnosis of the terminal nature of the condition.
