BUILDING FIRE SAFETY REGULATION 2008 - REG 75
Fee for fire safety report for a building
(1) This section applies if a person with an interest in a building gives the
service a written request for a fire safety report for the building. Example
of a person with an interest in a building— a prospective purchaser of a
building
(2) The request must be accompanied by a fee of 161.80 fee units.
(3) In this section—
"fire safety report" , for a building, means a report about the safety of the
building, including, for example, any of the following matters— (a) whether
a requisition relating to the building has been given under the
Fire Services Act 1990 , section 145G and, if so, whether the occupier of the
building has complied with the requisition;
(b) whether the commissioner has
given the occupier or owner of the building a notice under the
Fire Services Act 1990 , section 146Y (1) , and, if so, whether the occupier
or owner has complied with the notice;
(c) whether the service has carried
out an inspection of the building and, if so, the results of the inspection;
(d) whether a fire or hazardous materials emergency has happened in the
building, and, if so, the results of an investigation by the service relating
to the fire or emergency.
