(1) An employer of a child must take reasonable steps to ensure that, while the child is at work, the child is able to contact a parent or, if it is not practicable to contact a parent, a nominated person for the child.Penalty—Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
(2) An employer of a child must, while the child is at work and if it is reasonable in the circumstances, allow the child to contact a parent or, if a parent can not be contacted, a nominated person for the child.Penalty—Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
