A child who is under 12 weeks is permitted to work for 1 hour or less on a day if—(a) a parent of the child is present while the child is at work; and(b) the employer is satisfied on advice from a parent of the child that—(i) the child was born at full term and in good health; and(ii) the child’s birth weight was at least 3 kilograms; and(iii) the child has not had a health problem since birth; and(iv) the child is feeding properly; and(v) the child’s weight gain from birth has been satisfactory.
