A child who is under 12 weeks is permitted to work for more than 1 hour on a day if—(a) a parent of the child, and a midwife or registered nurse, are present while the child is at work; and(b) the midwife or registered nurse advises the employer that the work environment is unlikely to distress the child and that the child is suitable to perform the work; and(c) the employer follows the advice of the midwife or registered nurse about the welfare of the child.
