160 Transfer of certificate

(1) The holder of a certificate of conformity issued under this division who proposes to transfer the certificate to another person may apply to the regulator to have the certificate amended to refer to the name of the person to whom the certificate is to be transferred (the
"transferee" ).

(2) The application must be—

(a) in the approved form; and

(b) accompanied by—

(i) the certificate to be transferred; and

(ii) a statement, signed by the transferee, that the transferee consents to the transfer; and

(iii) the fee for the application.

(3) The regulator may issue a certificate of conformity to the transferee if the holder complies with the requirements under subsection (2) .

(4) If the regulator refuses to grant the application, the regulator must give the applicant an information notice for the decision to refuse.
