HEALTH (DRUGS AND POISONS) REGULATION 1996 - REG 265A

265A Universities

(1) To the extent necessary for use in research or teaching at a university, the vice-chancellor of the university is authorised to give an S2 or S 3 poison to a member of the faculty or staff of the university.

(2) The vice-chancellor may delegate the authority to the bursar or another appropriately qualified officer of the university.

(3) In this section—

"appropriately qualified" , for an officer of a university, includes having the qualifications, experience or standing appropriate to the exercise of the power.
