5 What is a light vehicle

(1) A
"light vehicle" is a vehicle other than a heavy vehicle.

Note—

For the meaning of
"heavy vehicle" , see schedule 4 of the Act .

(2) A reference to a
"light vehicle" includes a component fitted to, or that is part of, the vehicle.
