Late filing of notice of intention to defend
138 Late filing of notice of intention to defend
A defendant may file and
serve a notice of intention to defend at any time before judgment, even if the
defendant is in default of rule 137 .
Note— However, see chapter 9 (Ending
proceedings early), part 1 (Default), division 2 (Proceedings started by
claim) for the possible consequences of not filing within the time limited for
filing.
