EDUCATION (QUEENSLAND COLLEGE OF TEACHERS) ACT 2005 No. 47 - SECT 157

157 Contempt of committee

At a hearing by the committee, a person must not--

(a) insult the committee or a committee member; or
(b) deliberately interrupt the hearing; or
(c) create, continue, or join in creating or continuing, a disturbance in or near a place where the hearing is being conducted; or
(d) attempt to improperly influence the committee; or
(e) without lawful excuse, disobey a lawful order or direction of the committee; or
(f) do anything else that would be contempt of court if the committee were a court of record.

Maximum penalty--50 penalty units.
