HEALTH AND HOSPITALS NETWORK ACT 2011 No. 32 - SECT 159

A designated person may disclose confidential information if the disclosure is to the Australian Red Cross Society for the purpose of tracing—

(a) blood or tissue, or blood products derived from blood, infected with any disease; or

(b) the donor or recipient of that blood or tissue.
