142—Effect of order for foreclosure
Every such order for foreclosure shall be under the hand of the
Registrar-General, and be entered in the Register Book, and shall when so
entered have the effect of vesting in the mortgagee all the estate and
interest of the mortgagor in the land mentioned in such order, free from all
right and equity of redemption on the part of the mortgagor, or of any person
claiming through or under him subsequently to the mortgage so foreclosed, and
upon such entry the mortgagee shall be deemed the registered proprietor of the
said estate and interest.
