44—Employer to report dismissal etc for unprofessional conduct
(1) If the employer of
a registered social worker dismisses the social worker in response to
allegations of unprofessional conduct, or accepts the resignation of the
social worker following allegations of unprofessional conduct, the employer
must, within 7 days, submit a written report to the Board—
(a)
describing the circumstances of the dismissal or resignation; and
(b)
containing all other prescribed information.
Maximum penalty: $5 000.
(2) A person incurs no
liability by making a report purportedly in compliance with this section in
good faith.
