relating to the person; and
(ca) the
person is otherwise a fit and proper person to be granted a special authority
to teach; and
(d) the
person has met any other requirements prescribed by regulation for the
purposes of this subsection.
(3) An application for
a special authority must—

made to the Teachers Registration Board in the manner and form approved by the
Board; and
(ab) be
accompanied by evidence of a kind determined by the Board that a working with
children check has been conducted in relation to the person within the
preceding 5 years; and

accompanied by the prescribed fee.
(3a) An applicant for
a special authority must pay, in addition to the prescribed fee, an amount
specified by the Teachers Registration Board, being an amount payable by the
Board for the conduct by the Board of a criminal record check relating to the
applicant.
(4) An applicant for a
special authority must provide the Teachers Registration Board with any
information required by the Board for the purposes of determining the
application, verified, if the Board so requires, by statutory declaration.

hearing or other process, by written notice to the holder of a special
authority, vary or revoke the special authority.
