51—Personal identification code equivalent to signature
(1) If a provision of
these regulations requires a person to sign a record or receipt that is in
electronic form, evidence on the record or receipt that the person has entered
his or her personal identification code will be taken to be sufficient
compliance by that person with the requirement.
(2) In this
regulation—
"personal identification code" means a code that—
(a) is
allotted to a person by his or her employer for use by that person in
connection with official duties; and
(b) is
known only by that person and such other persons as may be authorised by the
employer for management purposes.
