1—Transitional provision
(1) The fees prescribed in respect of an application for a certificate of
survey of a vessel, a certificate of operation, or for the renewal or
re-validation of a certificate of competency by Schedule 1 of the Marine
Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law (Application)
Regulations 2013, as substituted by these regulations, apply where the
relevant certificate, renewal or re-validation is to take effect on or after
1 July 2014.
(2) All other fees prescribed in Schedule 1 of the Marine Safety
(Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law (Application)
Regulations 2013, as substituted by these regulations, apply from
1 July 2014.
(3) Despite regulation 4—
(a) the fees prescribed in respect of an application for a certificate of
survey of a vessel, a certificate of operation, or for the renewal or
re-validation of a certificate of competency by Schedule 1 of the Marine
Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law (Application)
Regulations 2013, as in force immediately before the commencement of
these regulations, continue to apply where the relevant certificate, renewal or
re-validation is to take effect before 1 July 2014; and
(b) all other fees prescribed by Schedule 1 of the Marine Safety
(Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law (Application)
Regulations 2013, as in force immediately before the commencement of
these regulations, continue to apply until 1 July 2014.
