South Australian Current Regulations South Australian Current Regulations8A—Exemption from registration and insurance for electric personal
transporters
An electric personal transporter may be driven on roads without registration
or insurance subject to the following conditions:
(a) the
transporter must not be driven except by the owner of the transporter or a
person authorised by the owner of the transporter;
(b) a
policy of public liability insurance indemnifying the owner and any authorised
driver of the transporter in an amount of at least $20 000 000 in
relation to death or bodily injury caused by, or arising out of, the use of
the transporter must be in force.
