Section 107—delete the section and substitute:
107—Cancellation etc of entitlement for non-payment of levy
(1) If a person who
holds a water licence, a right to an allocation of water under the terms of an
Interstate Water Entitlements Transfer Scheme or an imported water permit has
failed to pay a levy, or an instalment of a levy, within 3 months after being
served with a notice under section 105, the Minister may serve further
notice on the person requiring payment within a period of not less than 1
month and stating that the licence, right or permit (as the case may be) may
be cancelled, suspended or varied by the Minister if the amount is not paid
within that time.
(2) The Minister may
cancel, suspend or vary the water licence, right or imported water permit by 7
days written notice served on the holder of the licence or permit if the levy
or instalment is not paid in accordance with the notice referred to in
subsection (1).
