STATUTES AMENDMENT (MINERAL RESOURCES) ACT 2019 (NO 29 OF 2019) - SECT 82

82—Amendment of section 70A—Object of Part

        (1)         Section 70A(1)—delete "mining tenements" and substitute:

mineral tenements

        (2)         Section 70A(1)—before paragraph (a) insert:

            (aa)         ensure that an operating approval in the form of a program for environment protection and rehabilitation is in force; and

        (3)         Section 70A(1)—delete "mining operations" wherever occurring and substitute in each case:

authorised operations

        (4)         Section 70A(2)—delete subsection (2)
