56—Grounds for disciplinary action
Each of the following constitutes grounds for disciplinary action against a
licensee:
(a) the
licensee has failed to comply with a provision of this Act or a
corresponding law or with a condition of the licence;
(b) the
licensee has been found guilty of an offence involving fraud or dishonesty
punishable on conviction by imprisonment for 3 months or more;
(c) the
activities to which the licence relates are being carried on in a dishonest or
unfair manner;
(d) the
licensing authority would be required by section 45 to refuse an
application for a licence by the licensee (if the licensee were not already a
licensee);
(e) the
licensee has been refused a licence under a corresponding law or is the
subject of disciplinary action under the provision of a corresponding law that
corresponds to section 58;
(f) the
licensee is not, for any other reason, a fit and proper person to continue to
hold a licence.
