22—Compensation for temporary occupation
In any of the cases aforesaid where the Minister takes temporary possession of
lands by virtue of the powers herein granted, it shall be incumbent on him,
within one month after his entry upon such lands, upon being required to do
so, to pay to the occupier of the said lands the value of any crop that may be
thereon, as well as full compensation for any other damage of a temporary
nature which he may sustain by reason of the Minister so taking possession of
his lands. If there is any dispute as to the said value, the same shall be
settled in the manner provided by the Land
Acquisition Act 1969 , for settling questions of compensation.
