(1) In this section road authority means a person, body corporate or body politic responsible for designing, constructing, maintaining or managing roads;road hump means a section of raised pavement constructed or placed in or on, and across or partly across, a road to restrict the speed of vehicles along that road.(2) The Commission may issue written directions in relation to road humps, or proposed road humps, on public streets.(3) A direction referred to in subsection (2) may be issued to the following:(a) a road authority;(b) any other person or class of persons.(4) A road authority or person to whom a direction under subsection (2) is issued must comply with that direction.Penalty: Fine not exceeding 10 penalty units.
