Regulation 2(1) of the Principal Regulations is amended as follows:

(a) by inserting after the definition of "heavy vehicle" the following definitions:

laser detection device means a device that may be used to detect or interfere with a laser speed analyser;

laser speed analyser means a device which, by means of a laser –

(a) measures the speed of a motor vehicle; and

(b) displays the measured speed numerically on a dial of that device;

(b) by inserting after the definition of "traffic control light signal" the following definition:

train includes any vehicle constructed or adapted for propulsion on railway tracks;
