WATER MANAGEMENT (SAFETY OF DAMS) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 2006 (S.R. 2006, NO. 73) - REG 5

Regulation 13 amended (Fees, allowances and compensation)
Regulation 13 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting subregulation (1) and substituting the following subregulation:
(1)  The fee payable to the Crown by the owner of a dam or proposed dam for assessing a design, construction, maintenance, surveillance or decommissioning report is 115 fee units, plus 77 fee units for each hour or part of an hour spent processing the report, excluding the first hour.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the regulation)

These regulations amend the Water Management (Safety of Dams) Regulations 2003  –
(a) in respect of the competency standards required of people undertaking certain activities specified in those regulations to ensure consistency with the relevant ANCOLD guidelines; and
(b) by increasing the fee payable for the assessment of certain reports.
