(1) The Secretary to the Department of Transport, on being requested to do so, must make any recordings in the register in relation to any transferred vehicle that are necessary because of the operation of a provision of this Division.

(2) A current certificate of roadworthiness is not required to be obtained and given to the Secretary to the Department of Transport for a transferred vehicle for the purposes of subsection (1).
(3) In this section—
"the register" has the same meaning as in the Road Safety Act 1986 ;
"transferred vehicle" means a vehicle to which a transfer order applies and which is eligible to be registered under the Road Safety Act 1986 .
