Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) Despite anything to the contrary in any Act or instrument, an easement to which a transmission company is entitled may be used by a transmission company for the provision by it or another person of a carriage service within the meaning of the Telecommunications Act 1997 of the Commonwealth.
(2) Nothing in this Act authorises a transmission company to acquire compulsorily land or an interest in land for the purposes only of a carriage service within the meaning of subsection (1).
