FIREARMS ACT 1996 - SECT 112A

In this Part and in Parts 8 and 10A—

S. 112A def. of firearm prohibition order repealed by No. 10/2024 s. 9(c).

S. 112A def. of firearm related item amended by No. 10/2024 s. 9(b).

"firearm related item" means any of the following—

        (a)     a part of a firearm;

        (b)     cartridge ammunition;

        (c)     a silencer;

        (d)     an attachment for a firearm;

        (e)     an accessory for a firearm;

        (f)     any other prescribed item related to a firearm;

S. 112A def. of Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service inserted by No. 10/2024 s. 9(a).

"Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service" means South East Aboriginal Justice Services Limited ACN 623 566 870, trading as Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service ABN 45 926 675 900;

S. 112A def. of Victoria Legal Aid inserted by No. 10/2024 s. 9(a).

"Victoria Legal Aid" means Victoria Legal Aid established under section 3 of the Legal Aid Act 1978 .
