HOUSING ACT 1983 - SECT 38

S. 38(1) amended by No. 40/2022 s. 37(4).

    (1)     A prescribed person who is in any way improperly concerned or interested in any contract or agreement made by or on behalf of Homes Victoria is guilty of an offence and is liable to a penalty not exceeding 60 penalty units.

    (2)     In this section "prescribed person" means—

        (a)     the Chief Executive Officer, Homes Victoria;

        (b)     the Registrar of Housing Agencies;

        (c)     an employee of the Department;

        (d)     a delegate of Homes Victoria.
