(1) In the case of any inconsistency between a power that may be exercised by Safe Transport Victoria or another person under a relevant law and a power that may be exercised in respect of a restricted access area, the power that may be exercised under the relevant law prevails.

(2) In this section, "relevant law" means any provision of this Act (other than this Part), the Marine Safety Act 2010 , regulations made under this Act (other than in respect of this Part) or regulations made under the Marine Safety Act 2010 .
