Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) The Minister, in writing, may direct the Service Victoria CEO to perform a specified function (including but not limited to a customer service function or an identity verification function) for the purposes of the delivery of Government services.
(2) A function specified in a direction under subsection (1) is in addition to any other functions the Service Victoria CEO has under this Act or any other law.
(3) The Service Victoria CEO must comply with a direction given under subsection (1) according to its terms.
(4) A direction under subsection (1) must be published in the Government Gazette as soon as reasonably practicable after it is made.
(5) A direction under subsection (1) is not
invalid merely because of a failure to comply with subsection (4).
