Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) An Authority may, by notice in writing, require the owner of a property which becomes a serviced property to meet or contribute to the present day cost of any works that are used or will be able to be used directly or indirectly for the provision of services to that property.
(2) The amount of the payment must—
(a) be assessed by the Authority to be fair and reasonable in all the circumstances; and
(b) take into account any payment that the owner has made or is liable to make under section 268 in relation to that property.
(3) The notice must specify the things set out in section 268(4)(a) to (f).
