(1) Except if otherwise provided by or under any Act, a person under disability must commence or defend a proceeding by the person's litigation guardian.
(2) Except if otherwise provided by these Rules, anything in a proceeding that is required or permitted by the Rules to be done by a party must or may, if the party is a person under disability, be done by the person's litigation guardian.
(3) A litigation guardian of a person under disability must act by an Australian lawyer.
(4) Unless for special reason the Court otherwise orders, the litigation guardian of a person under disability is not personally liable for costs awarded against the person.
