An employer must ensure that employees who are likely to be exposed to risks associated with high risk crystalline silica work are given information, instruction and training in—
(a) the health risks associated with exposure to crystalline silica dust; and
(b) the need for, and proper use of, any risk control measures required under these Regulations; and
(c) how the risk control measures are to be implemented.
Penalty: 60 penalty units for a natural person;
300 penalty units for a body corporate.
