    The long title for the Bill for this Act was "A Bill for an Act to re-enact with amendments certain provisions of the Audit Act 1994 and to extend and modernise the duties, powers and functions of the Auditor-General and the Victorian Auditor-General's Office, to clarify the rights and obligations of entities audited by the Auditor-General, to consequentially amend certain other Acts and for other purposes."
