ACCIDENT COMPENSATION AMENDMENT ACT 2010 (NO. 9 OF 2010) - SECT 186

Claims against section 55(2)(a) or 55(2)(d) [section 57]

    (1)     At the foot of section 57(2) of the Accident Compensation (WorkCover Insurance) Act 1993 insert —

"Penalty:     In the case of a natural person, 60 penalty units;

In the case of a body corporate, 300 penalty units.".

    (2)     Section 57(5) of the Accident Compensation (WorkCover Insurance) Act 1993 is repealed .
