After section 39 of the Juries Act 2000 insert —
A trial judge may direct a potential juror to move in a particular direction to distinguish the potential juror from other potential jurors—
(a) to enable the Crown to consider whether to require the potential juror to stand aside in accordance with section 38; and
(b) to enable each person arraigned adequate time and reasonable opportunity to view the face of the potential juror to consider whether to challenge peremptorily the potential juror in accordance with section 39.
