MAJOR CRIME (INVESTIGATIVE POWERS) ACT 2004 (NO 79 OF 2004) - SECT 52

Chief Examiner must report witness summonses and orders to Special Investigations Monitor

        The Chief Examiner must give a written report to the Special Investigations Monitor within 3 days after the issue of a witness summons, or the making of an order under section 18, by the Chief Examiner setting out—

        (a)     the name of the person summoned or in respect of whom the order was made; and

        (b)     the reasons the summons was issued or the order was made.
