MAJOR CRIME (INVESTIGATIVE POWERS) ACT 2004 (NO 79 OF 2004) - SECT 55

Special Investigations Monitor may refuse to investigate complaint

The Special Investigations Monitor may refuse to investigate a complaint if he or she considers that—

        (a)     the subject-matter of the complaint is trivial; or

        (b)     the complaint is frivolous or vexatious or is not made in good faith.
