MAJOR CRIME (INVESTIGATIVE POWERS) ACT 2004 (NO 79 OF 2004) - SECT 54

Complaints to Special Investigations Monitor

    (1)     A person who has been examined under this Act may make a complaint to the Special Investigations Monitor, within 3 days after the completion of the examination, about either or both of the following—

        (a)     the relevance of any questions asked of the person to the investigation of the organised crime offence in relation to which the coercive powers order was made;

        (b)     the relevance of any requirement to produce a document or other thing to the investigation of the organised crime offence in relation to which the coercive powers order was made.

    (2)     A complaint may be made orally or in writing.
