(1) In section 3(1) of the Marine Act 1988 —
(a) the definitions of "Australian Builders Plate Standard", "Australian fishing vessel", certificate of competency", "certificate of survey , channel operator", "commercial marine operations , fishing vessel", " government vessel , harbour master , "harbour master licence", licensed harbour master , "local authority", local port , mandatory marine safety decision", " marine infringement , navigation aid", " operator licence , pilotage services , "pilot exempt master", port , port corporation", " port of Melbourne , Port of Melbourne Corporation", " port of Melbourne waters , port waters", " regulated recreational vessel , relevant marine safety law", " trading vessel , Uniform Shipping Laws Code and Victorian Regional Channels Authority are repealed ;
(b) in the definition of Director of the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine , for " Coroners Act 1985 " substitute " Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine Act 1985 ";
(c) for the definition of regulated hire and drive vessel substitute —
"" regulated hire and drive vessel" has the same meaning as it has in the Marine Safety Act 2010 ;";
(d) for the definition of waterway manager substitute —
"" waterway manager" has the same meaning as it has in the Marine Safety Act 2010 .";
(e) insert the following definitions—
"" marine incident" has the same meaning as it has in the Marine Safety Act 2010 ;
"marine licence" has the same meaning as it has in the Marine Safety Act 2010 ;
"registered recreational vessel" has the same meaning as it has in the Marine Safety Act 2010 ;".
(2) Sections 3(2), 3(3)(b) and 3(3A) of the Marine Act 1988 are repealed .
