NORTH EAST LINK ACT 2020 (NO. 18 OF 2020) - SECT 150

After section 133C of the Road Management Act 2004 insert —

        " 133D     Application of regulations to North East Link road

    (1)     Regulations which may be made under this Act in respect of a freeway may be made in respect of the North East Link road in accordance with this section.

    (2)     For the purposes of this section—

        (a)     a reference in section 132 to a road is to be construed as a reference to the North East Link road; and

        (b)     a power which may be conferred on a road authority to recover damages is to be taken to enable power to be conferred on the North East Link State Tolling Corporation to recover damages; and

        (c)     a reference to the property of a road authority is to be construed as a reference to the property of the North East Link State Tolling Corporation; and

        (d)     a discretionary power which may be conferred on a road authority may be conferred on the North East Link State Tolling Corporation.".
