Victorian Numbered Acts Victorian Numbered Acts(1) A person who intentionally makes a false statement, whether orally or in writing, under oath or affirmation or in an affidavit is liable to the penalties of perjury.

(2) Subsection (1) applies whether the oath, affirmation or affidavit is made under this Act, or made or required by or under any other Act, whether passed before, on or after the commencement of this section.
